Description
Aluminium heat sinks are passive heat exchangers commonly used to cool electronic devices. Heat sinks have a large surface area which increases the rate of heat transfer to the cooling surrounding medium. The typical finned profiles have large surface areas which increases the heat sink’s ability to dissipate heat via convection.
